Martinson Construction has been fulfilling your concrete construction needs in the Cedar Valley for more than 50 years. From residential to commercial projects, we have the experience to do them all. Our company's reputation is backed by our dependable and experienced employees, and we're confident that our services will exceed your expectations.

Martinson Construction uses the latest technology available for every part of the construction process that we are involved in. This is essential to provide customers with accurate and timely service. We utilize the computer aided drafting software IntelliCAD to create job drawings that are used during initial layout, pouring foundations, and layout of flatwork.

Our skilled drafters take the plans provided and redraw them for every individual project. This allows for double checking of dimensions, locations of piers, beam pockets, etc. When the drawing is completed we can compare it to the provided plan to ensure consistency. At this point, we are able to provide a copy to the builder for verification if they desire.

History

The company was founded in 1950 by Vern Martinson in Cedar Falls, IA. Vern's son Jerry took over in the mid-1960's as the company continued to grow. In 1993 the business moved to its current office in Waterloo. Currently, Jerry's sons Scott and David handle the day-to-day operations.
